Supavoice Quick Start Guide
1. Installation
- Open the downloaded DMG file
- Drag the Supavoice icon to your Applications folder
- Launch Supavoice from your Applications folder
2. Setting Up Your OpenAI Key
- Click the Supavoice icon in your menu bar
- Click "Settings"
- Go to the "OpenAI Key" tab
- Paste your OpenAI API key
- Click "Test Key" to make sure it works
3. Start Using SupaVoice
3.1 Using the Keyboard Shortcut (Recommended)
- Press
"Command+Option+V"from any app - When prompted, allow microphone access
- Start speaking
- Press
"Command+Option+V"when you're done speaking - Your text will appear when you're done
3.2 Using the Menu Bar
- Click the Supavoice icon in your menu bar
- Click "Supavoice", and then "Record"
- Start speaking, and then click "Done" when you're done
- Your text will appear when you're done
4. Auto-Paste Feature
To have your text automatically paste into your current app:
- Go to System Preferences > Privacy & Security > Accessibility
- Click the "+" button
- Add Supavoice from your Applications folder
- Enable the checkbox next to Supavoice
